REO Speedwagon and Styx: REO Speedwagon, whose hits include “Keep On Loving You” and “Take It On the Run,” and Styx, who released their 17th album, “Crash of the Crown,” in June 2021 with some new songs and recordings of live classics, perform. SPC Planetarium Shows: This month marks a rare lineup of five planets that can be viewed with the naked eye. The planetarium will show you how to find them and share the story behind the alignment. Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition: Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition is a collection of the artist’s renowned ceiling frescoes from the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, reproduced in a format that allows viewers to get close to the masterpieces through 34 artfully displayed reproductions. $20.30, $15.40 children. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday. Special events are as follows:

Clearwater Threshers: The Threshers hit the field as the Beach Dogs to face the Palm Beach Cardinals. The first 1,000 guests get a free Crime Stoppers of Pinellas Threshers cap. Also, hot dogs are 50 cents at the concession stands all night and dogs are allowed into the ballpark. A Grateful Dead tribute by Uncle John’s Band follows. $7-$11. 6:30 p.m. Friday.
