The RVA East Finish Festival, which advantages songs and arts systems for Richmond General public Universities, is coming back again this drop right after getting on hiatus for the previous two many years because of the pandemic.

Since its inception, the competition has lifted over $400,000 to help audio, doing arts and visible arts systems at 8 East Finish Richmond schools.
Newbille was joined Thursday morning by RPS Superintendent Jason Kamras Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney festival organizers James “Saxsmo” Gates and the Rev. Marilyn Heckstall RPS College Board members Chair Shonda Harris-Muhammed of the 6th District and Cheryl Burke of the 7th District Joey Trapani, CEO of Richmond Local community Clinic and Walter Bitner, director of education and group engagement for the Richmond Symphony.
Gates, a graduate of RPS and a Grammy-nominated musician, explained his really like for songs commenced in elementary school.

The pageant is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24 from midday to 9 p.m. at Marsh Elementary in Church Hill. It will feature performances by customers of the Richmond Symphony and youth musicians, dancers and visible artists. Local musicians are welcome to carry out at the competition by finishing an software by Aug. 8.
